About Us

Emotional Intelligence and Life Skills Training Team (Gte) Ltd: is a pioneer nonprofit training and consulting team on promoting Emotional Intelligence and Life skills and designing / implementing innovative creative and cost-effective behavioral change social marketing campaign development in Sri Lanka. Within the last 14 years EI Life Skills training team has served over 14000 people in different backgrounds.

EI Life Skills training team comprises group of young professionals in several fields from different ethnic groups and religions, represent different districts of the country. Also, this Team consist National and International level Resource persons in practical experience relevant to the developing materials in skill training program especially emotional intelligence, life skills as well as tourism and hospitality.

The Team has experience and expertise working as a team in theoretical as well as practical aspects in diverse fields such as emotional intelligence and life skills development, video development, curriculum development, psychosocial, Youth Development, Business development, Counseling, Drug demand reduction, Nutrition, Gender based violence, Peace, Reconciliation, Community development, Gender based violence and Personality development with experience in designing and implementing very creative and effective behavioral change social marketing campaigns.

Furthermore, this team has resource persons with Sound understanding of Tourism Standards of ASEAN, GMS, Southern African and Gulf States (GCC) ensuring skills recognition, familiar with TVET/skills development system and with NVQ of Sri Lanka, assessment Standards adopted in ASEAN, GMS, Southern African and Gulf States (GCC) ensuring skills recognition, excellent networking ability with the stakeholders in the country including government agencies, industries, NGOs, private training organizations, etc and the team will be able to meet deadline and complete assignment within the stipulated time-frame.

Asia mantra is a new initiative of EI Team, created to reduce poverty through developing the skills related to travel, tourism, and hospitality industry.We are delighted to invite the youth worldwide to contribute their skills, knowledge, wisdom of the expertise as volunteers. Mr. Prasad Jayasinghe

Creative Director and Master Trainer

Is a Creative Director and Master Trainer at Emotional Intelligence and Life Skills Training Team. He has trained over 9000 people in different background include Cooperate, Government, INGO/NGO, Armed Forces, Ex- Combatants, and war and Tsunami affected communities and been in the field more than 15 years. He specializes in behavioral change trainings and concept development for social change areas like Emotional Intelligence, Life Skills and Gender base violence. He is an Author of “Beautiful Mind” a famous Community Empowerment Book. He has also experience in working with EMDR Therapy, Hypno Therapy and Counseling. He studied in psychology, Counseling, Commonwealth youth in Development work and writer ship and communication in University of Sri Jayawardanapura and Open University of Sri Lanka. He has a BA Social Science degree in Open University of Sri Lanka, and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in University of Wolverhampton, UK. He has given his diverse experience by sharing in several National and International level Conferences and workshops.

Currently working as Assistant Manager – Training and development at Emotional Intelligence & Life Skills Training Team She is well experienced personality in corporate field more than 2 years in operations, planning, organizing events and human resource management. Fluent in Sinhala, Tamil and English languages so she holds a very good Communication skill, Customer Relationship management and Public speaking. Also she manages third –party contributions. As she holds mathematical background and experienced in finance she assist and manages program budget, monitoring expenditure throughout the program process. She is learning professional.

is a consultant at Asia mantra. He is a former project manager and head of logistics of SLV Global. He is a youth ambassador for Sri Lanka – world youth summit for peace UAE 2019. He have achieved various types of leadership skills through the volunteering and have participated to international level programs such as Sri Lankan Delegate – World Festival on Youth & Student – Sochi Olympic Village – Russia (2017), Sri Lanka National Team Leader – Youth SAARC Delegate Team – Indian National Youth Festival (2011 – India), Sri Lankan Delegate – First Global Youth Festival for SDGS 2018 (Bahrain), Sri Lankan Delegate–Global Partnership Summit- 2017 (India) 5) and world youth Japanese Youth Program SWY 2016.

Is a Bachelor of Social Science at Open University of Sri Lanka. Also Post Graduate Diploma in Management 2017 (South Eastern University of Sri Lanka) Reading MBA and completed Dip. In Human Resource Management. He is a computer literate too. He has working experience in various fields such as International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Practical Action, UNHABITAT. Currently he is working for Emotional Intelligence and Life Skills Training Team as Project Coordinator for Baticaloa, Ampara, Polonnaruwa and Trincomalee districts. Also he is the project officer of Baticaloa District.

Is a B. Sc. In Psychology degree holder, University of Madras, Chennai India. Also Dip. In Counselling, Certificate in Human rights and Women and Peace. He is a district officer at Emotional Intelligence and Life Skills Training Team. He is also Master Training of Trainer (TOT) on Psychological first aid. He has served in various organisations such as Sarvodaya, Family Planning Association, Family Rehabilitation Center, CARE International, International Committee of the Red Cross and many more with various job role. He has excellent skills to work with youths and elders. Experienced in Counseling as a psychosocial worker, Referrals, Networking with communication skills, Logistics, Procurement Human resource management and finance management with high computer literacy. He is also fluent in Sihala, Tamil and English (Read, Write and Spoken).

He has been in the Training arena for the past 12 years and has extensive experience in community development driving numerous training initiatives. He is an experienced lecturer for Masters Degree in ICBT Campus. He has trained and provided psychosocial support services to Tsunami and War affected community. He is a resourceful community development proficient at collaborating with multiple stakeholders to determine community interest and develop effective campaigns for social change. He brings to his workshops, wide international experience and excellent facilitation skills.

With over Five years of experience as a Trainer and has trained life skills for people from Armed Forces, Ex- Combatants, and war affected communities. He has experience in conducting survey on violence against women in Vavuniya and Mullaithivu Districts. He Armed with a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) degree in University of Jaffna. He is also a Certified Trainer in School of Life skills Education and Social Harmony in India. He has excellent training skills in areas like positive behavioral change to human development.

Is a Trainer of Emotional Intelligence and Life Skills Training Team. Armed with a B.A. Degree in Sociology, Mass communication, Philosophy and Diploma in writer ship and communication in University of Sri Jayawardanapura. She holds Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling and Master Degree in Counseling in University of Colombo and Kelaniya. She specializes in behavioral change areas like women empowerment, drug demand reduction, Life Skills and Emotional Intelligence with over 15 years of experience. She is a masterful facilitator for awareness, training programs and workshops on drug prevention, drug counseling and behavior change communication and peer education. Her research findings have been presented at oversees Conferences in India, Sweeden and Scotland.

He seeks to actively engage communities in his trainings in making sense of the issues which affected their lives, setting goals for improvement and responding to problems and need through empowerment and active participation
